A week ago, those attending one of the ‘Bichota Tour‘ concerts were surprised with a spectacular presentation by Karol G, but they also experienced a moment that was marked in the history of Latin American music, since in the middle of the show, the singer Colombian invited the Mexican singer and actress Anahí, former member of RBD, to come up.
So the more than 20 thousand people who were on June 11, 2022 at the Mexico City Arena, were moved to see Anahí on stage, but the euphoria reached its climax when both artists performed an emotional version of “Sálvame” , one of the most emblematic ballads of the youth group.
“When it occurred to me to invite her, I knew that she had been off stage for 11 years. That she has had a thousand invitations and she accepted mine! It is a very emotional moment for two reasons: one, because I am a super fan. Two, because she was very nervous, she didn’t know if people were going to respond to her exit. I told him that this moment was going to be so epic that it was not going to happen again. That we miss her on stage”, said Karol G after making the presentation.
Now, a week later, this iconic moment can be relived by fans of Karol G, Anahí, RBD and music fans in general, since the presentation of both singers was immortalized in a video, which was released on successful digital platforms.
“For me it has been a tremendous honor to be with you. You know that I’ve been a bit far, 11 years since I’ve been on a stage, and the nerves are strong. I just want to tell you that you are always in my heart, what we live together and what we build together, is never forgotten. They are an incredible generation!” Anahí said for her part.
It should be remembered that “Sálvame” is one of the most iconic hymns of the Mexican group RBD, immortalized by the voice of Anahí, which is part of the album Rebelde published at the end of 2004, which quickly achieved a Diamond Record and a Gold Record in Mexico for high sales, also impacting Brazil and Ecuador with a Gold Record, as well as Triple Platinum in Colombia and Platinum in Chile.
