Billboard Latin Music Charts – June 1, 2013

The Never Ending Popularity of Juan Luis Guerra

This week, the legendary Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra has proved once again why he is one of the most popular Latin music stars in the world. His recently released album Asondeguerra Tour is this week’s number one album on the Top Latin Albums chart. His new production is also at the highest position on the Tropical Albums ranking, something that finally challenges the popularity ofBachata music in this chart.

Apart from Juan Luis Guerra, Marc Anthony‘s “Vivir Mi Vida” is still the hottest Latin song in the country. In addition to the number one spot on the Hot Latin Songs chart, the single from the popular Salsa music and Latin Pop superstar also moved to the number one position of the Latin Airplay ranking. Another highlight this week includes the strong debut on the Latin Digital Songs chart of the single “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti” featuring Alejandro Fernandez and Christina Aguilera.

As far as Regional Mexican music goes, Vicente Fernandez‘s album Hoy moved from the third spot to the second place of the Top Latin Albums chart. Similarly, the new work from The King of Ranchera Music is this week’s number one Regional Mexican music album. Let’s take a closer look.
