Billboard’s Latin Music Week 2019 Photos Recap

The 2019 Billboard’s Latin Music Week has come to an end and what an amazing week it has been. What is now our 4th Latin Music Week it might have been our best experience yet with a week full of information, artist meets, and fun entertainment. Between the panels and after parties there was no better way to connect and experience Latin Music Week. The Week kicked off as always with a welcome address from Leila Cobo, and then straight in to the panel with what might have been the biggest on Tuesday Winis and Yandel The Return of Urban Hitmakers and Ozuna Superstar Q&A. With both panels the questions were hard hitting speaking about music, the impact they have had on the industry and what future they will have with their music.

Day two was just as big as Day 1 with both Industry and Artist panels starting off with PR Roundtable breaking down the importance of building a great PR team more now than ever before. Straight in to a panel full of motivation and emotions with the Rivera Family, as they talked about the legacy of Jenny Rivera and what the family has been working on to allow her fans to remember her. Also announcing a Rivera Family Tour with 3 generations of Riveras hitting the stage for the first time ever.

We also got a returning “Women in the Lead Panel” showcasing women in music, and the dominance they have on the industry with Anitta, Becky G, Natti Natasha, Karol G, and Lali Esposito. The panel breakdown the importance of women in Latin Music working together and helping each to make more music and help bring in new talent. Dr. Stacy Smith broke in details areas that women have yet to explore in the industry or grown in such as female directors and producers. All female talent agreed that their growth has also helped the industry and others female to get involved but that they still believe there is a lot of work to do.

The two other main attraction of the day were Anuel AA Supeter Q&A which he spoke about the changes he has had to make in his career and lifestyle. The changes he knew were important to him as an artist and a father after coming home from prison. Anuel went on to speak about his love life and Karol G who then joined him on stage and future projects that he had lined up. Anuel even went to mention on how he would love to work on a Bachata feature with Zacarias Ferreira.

The 2nd main attraction was Juan Luis Guerra for The Legends Q&A. Guerra spoke on his 30 plus years in music and the direction his career has taken. He spoke about always being open to working with new and talents outside of his norm to create something unique. Then was asked about his newest and current hit Kitipun and how successful it has been, plus how amazing it has been to get all the support he has gotten from artist and fans.

The after parties did not fall short this year with amazing performances from Glade Empire Roster at Drai’s After Hours featuring J Alvarez, Nio Garcia, Casper Mágico, Myke Towers, and MC Ceja. This was only the beginning as later that night Brazilian Superstar Anitta took the main stage to perform all of her hits in her sexy and seductive ways.

Overall like I said before this was an amazing week full of music, information, and networking for everyone within the industry. We are super excited to be apart of this week and can not wait to see who will join the fun next year.
