Chris Brown’s aunt was held at gunpoint and locked in a closet while robbers broke into the singer’s home early Wednesday, July 15, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement tells TMZ that three armed men purposely targeted Chris Brown’s San Fernando Valley residence. They broke in around 2 a.m. PST, held a gun to his aunt’s face and ordered her into a closet. They proceeded to rob the home, taking money and other assets. They fled by the time the police responded to Brown’s aunt’s 911 call and arrived on the scene.
TMZ points out that at the time of the robbery, Chris Brown was at Hollywood nightclub the Argyle.
Representatives for Chris Brown did not respond to a request for comment at the time of publishing.
