The British group Coldplay is preparing a song by Juan Gabriel, which they could perform at the concerts they have scheduled in Mexico.
It was in an interview for the television station ‘Imagen’ where Chris Martin, vocalist Coldplay spoke about his upcoming presentations in the Mexican capital.
Undoubtedly, the group is characterized by pleasing their audience and this time was no exception, as they revealed that they plan to sing in Spanish.
Let us remember that in the Dominican Republic they performed the song “Bachata Roldosa” by the famous Dominican Juan Luis Guerra.
After being questioned about the possibility of a similar surprise, they declared: “On some nights, maybe not on all but maybe on some”
Likewise, Chris Martin of Coldplay stated that it is most likely a Juan Gabriel song.
“From Juan Gabriel… Juan Gabriel is very hard,” said the singer.
The Coldplay frontman explained that it takes time for him to learn a song in Spanish, so he may not pay tribute to Juan Gabriel at every show in Mexico.
“I’m very nervous to sing in Spanish, so I have to practice so much for each song, so some nights it’s not possible,” he said.
Likewise, the group appeared on social networks interpreting “Rayando El Sol” by Mana, so they could also interpret said theme.
