Lehman Center for the Performing Arts continues its unforgettable 31st season with one of Salsa’s greatest voices for the past three decades, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY winner GILBERTO SANTA ROSA, whose unique style of soneo (improvisational singing) revolutionized Salsa. Countless mega-hits have made him one of the most prolific masters of popular tropical music. His world-wide tour stops at Lehman Center on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 8pm, bringing his spectacular production, “ella(s)” — a two-hour visual and musical explosion produced by Rafo Muñiz and featuring an all-female Salsa band from Cali, Colombia that includes graduates of the renowned Buenos Aires Music Conservatory. Santa Rosa will sing such hits as “Conciencia,” “Conteo regresivo,” “Perdóname,” “Que alguien me diga” and “Vivir sin ella.”

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is on the campus of Lehman College/CUNY at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, Bronx, NY 10468. Tickets for GILBERTO SANTA ROSA “ella(s)” on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 8pm are $85, $75, and $55and can be purchased by calling the Lehman Center box office at 718.960.8833 (Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm and beginning at 12 noon on the day of the concert), or through 24-hour online access atwww.LehmanCenter.org. Lehman Center is accessible by #4 or D train to Bedford Park Blvd. and is off the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Major Deegan Expressway. Low-cost on-site parking is available for $5.
