After premiering in Los Angeles in November, iHeartMedia will reprise its iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on November 7 — this time at the American Airlines Arena in Miami — and the show will be broadcast on the Telemundo network,Billboard has learned. The next Fiesta Latina was announced during the Telemundo/NBC Universo upfront in New York City on Tuesday (May 12), which featured a performance by Daddy Yankee.
In addition to the special broadcast on Telemundo, Fiesta Latina will also stream exclusively on Yahoo Screen Live and broadcast live on iHeartMedia Spanish-pop, tropical, regional Mexican and Spanish adult hit radio stations across the U.S.
The iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina was iHeartMedia’s first foray into the Latin live concert space and featured performances by Ricky Martin, Pitbull, J Balvin, Becky G, Roberto Tapia, Alejandra Guzmán, Prince Royce, La Original Banda El Limón, Daddy Yankee and Jesse & Joy.
“The response to last year’s first-ever iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina from artists, critics, and, most importantly, listeners was absolutely amazing,” said John Sykes, president of entertainment enterprises for iHeartMedia “We’re thrilled to move the celebration to Miami this year.”
Performers for the new Fiesta have yet to be announced.
