The Brooklyn Phenomenon, incredibly multi-talented, bilingual, multi-genre singer, songwriter, producer, audio engineer, dancer, actress and aspiring author and philanthroper. Born and raised in the projects of Brownsville, Brooklyn, Lisenny is the last of 9 siblings of Dominican descent. Lisenny has been singing since the age of 4. At such a young age and into her early teenage years, Lisenny performed in her hispanic local church leading to performances in numerous other churches in the tri-state area. As music dominated her path, Lisenny became heavily involved in the performance arts in her local elementary school P.S .I.S. 41, where she joined the step-team and african dance team and was singled out as the lead soloist of the choir. Lisenny went on to join the choir in high school and performed the National Anthem at her own graduation ceremony where she was awarded for her excellent achievements in music and was on the honor roll.

After being immensely encouraged and convinced by her high school music teacher Ms. Everett King that she had extraordinary raw talent, she prepped Lisenny in the world of classical music, coaching Lisenny for her audition that would enter her into the School of Music Scholarship competition at NYACK College; she took home the first place win and her ticket to starting her college education at only the age of 16. In college, vocal coaches Willana Mack and Dana Talley took Lisenny under their wings and molded her vocal abilities teaching her the fundamentals of singing in preparation for a long-term career as a vocalist. During the next four years of intense musical training, Lisenny landed several lead roles in multiple opera arias including playing lead role Carmen in “Carmen”. Lisenny went on to travel as a lead vocalist and mezzo-soprano with the Nyack Choral to several tours not limited to the midwest, Italy, Puerto Rico and Lincoln Center in New York City.

Soon after Lisenny graduated from Nyack College she began touring as a backup singer all across the nation until she knew it was the time to go solo. Lisenny’s debut solo performance premiered on the longest running national television program “Sabado Gigante” where she was featured as a 3 time finalist in their segment of “Idolos De La Cancion” filmed in Florida hosted by legend Don Francisco. Lisenny gained even more recognition and took that opportunity to build her fanbase on social media, where she would have direct contact with people who tuned-in to her videos to see her perform her own bilingual remixes of a variety of different music ranging from Romeo Santos to Nina Simone to Nicki Minaj. After receiving amazing feedback from her followers, Lisenny was offered several record deals..

In September 2015 Lisenny signed her first major record deal with Bruno Mars/Atlantic Records and moved to LA shortly after. Lisenny worked on her solo project with a vast list of A-list producers and songwriters. She was also featured as a backup vocalist on Bruno Mars grammy award winning song “Chunky”, giving her her first plaque as a grammy award winning vocalist. In the year 2018, Lisenny parted ways with Atlantic and has since then released her first bilingual single this pasted April 2018 entitled “Bad to Buena”. Her debut album set to be released in 2018 will be in Spanish, with a bit of bilingual twists and fused with urban/tropical influences. Lisenny is a force to be reckoned with a heart of gold and a voice followed by a story that is truly creating a timeless impact all over the world.
