Live music will return this summer to Cabo de Pop with Epiricom and Perdón

After the great reception of its last two editions –marked by the pandemic–, the Cabo de Pop festival will return to normal on August 19 and 20. The concerts, which last year had to be dispensed with due to health recommendations, will take place in different locations in Cabo de Palos, such as the esplanade and the Lighthouse car park, Levante Beach and the Cabo port itself, and will feature by bands like Espiricom –one of the musical projects of Alfonso Alfonso, from Schwarz– and Almeria’s Compro Oro, among others.

El Cabo de Pop, “an unmissable event in the summer of the Region“, is a multidisciplinary and totally sustainable festival that is held every August in the town of Cartagena, offering musical and artistic performances, sports activities for the whole family, gastronomy, guided visits to the most emblematic places in the area, an exclusive market for creators from the Region, as well as workshops and activities to promote equality and protect the environment. Due to the collateral effects of the pandemic, in 2021 the festival was held without concerts, but music returns in this edition with a selection of the most relevant emerging groups of the moment in the Region, regardless of genre. Thus, this year bands such as Perdón, Adiós Noviembre, Shaman Shaman and Cromo, as well as Madrid’s Marta Movidas and “some more to be confirmed” will be part of the lineup.

On August 19 and 20, 2022, the Cabo de Pop concerts will be held on the parking esplanade of the Cabo de Palos Lighthouse from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. In addition, during the festival, there will be room for all kinds of sports and leisure activities, such as kayaking, surfing, sailing, snorkeling and diving, with the aim of “enhancing the sports and leisure environment in the area,” he says. the organization.

Culture, of course, will also be part of the festival, both for the music and for the guided tours inside the lighthouse, as well as for the craft market and the wide gastronomic offer that will be offered by some “colorful” foodtrucks. In addition, there will also be activities and talks focused on promoting equality and awareness and protection of our environment.
