The Mexican regional music singer, Luis Coronel, became the third eliminated tonight from “Top Chef VIP”, Telemundo’s cooking reality show. Between applause and tears, the 26-year-old interpreter was fired by his companions, judges and cheerleader of the competition, the Colombian actress Carmen Villalobos.
Luis Coronel lost the second challenge of the night, which consisted of making a soup “that wasn’t boring”. The Mexican opted for a shrimp broth that did not obtain the expected results. Along with him, Marlene Favela, Gregorio Pernía, Rodrigo Vidal, Graciela Beltrán and Horacio Pancheri participated.
For the first challenge, which Mexican singer Cristina Eustace won, the contestants had to make a dessert that represented her biggest phobia. However, it had to have good flavor and excellent presentation.
Eustace presented a cake she called “No matter what”, which included pineapple and strawberries.

Last week, the Mexican singer Jennifer Peña, was the second eliminated from the “reality show” that occupied the schedule of “La Casa de los Famosos”. This would not be the first time that the interpreter participates in a contest on the American television network, since last year she performed on the track of “Asi se Baila” with her husband Obie Bermúdez.
In “Top Chef VIP” viewers have witnessed how 16 celebrities came to the kitchen, where they have put their cooking skills to the test to conquer the palates of three renowned chefs who have judged their performance and effort. The grand winner will walk away with $100,000 in cash.
