MARSHMELLO AND TOKISCHA RELEASE A NEW COLLABORATION, “ESTILAZO”

Marshmello and Tokischa have come together in a collaboration that brings us pure style, because when you listen to it you will only want to dance and sing that mix of electronic and urban music that they have created for “Estilazo“, their new song

This new single is a perfect mix, which has come together in support of sexual liberation, feminism and inclusion. That is to say, a declaration of intentions made into a song to the rhythm of “being a bitch is fashionable”, as they sing in the video clip that has participations by Dennis Rodman, La Demi and Nikita Dragun. As expected, the video has been very well received and already has more than two million views on YouTube.

This new single is a perfect mix, which has come together in support of sexual liberation, feminism and inclusion. Working with Tokischa was amazing. I flew to the Dominican Republic and we did the song right there. Toki is obviously amazing and talented so working with her was a lot of fun and I’m really happy with how the song turned out,” Marshmello told Sony Music of the process of working together.

For her part, Tokischa also had an important challenge when making electronic music: “I’m a big fan of EDM. So the opportunity to work with Marshmello made me incredibly happy”, but she was very satisfied with the work thanks to the help of her colleagues.

But not only this, the artist was also very happy to be able to share the scene with the American: “personally, he is so sweet, kind and down to earth, but also insightful as to how our sounds could fit together… and I am very happy that he convinced me to do the song in Spanish, because the idea was originally planned for English, but he loved working in my neighborhood here in the DR and how the song felt when we translated it”.

Both artists don’t stop, because Marshmello already has many dates to go to to give concerts at different festivals, as is the case of the Barcelona Beach Festival. In the part of Tokischa, the Dominican singer has managed to grow little by little breaking with the norms that surround women, promoting a life free of hypocrisy and stereotypes, without being afraid to show what she does, what she likes or who she is. it is.

Also thanks to her collaborations with artists like Rosalía in La Combi Versace, or J Balvin, Tokischa is showing who she is and what world she wants in the future. She already passed through our country in April with her first tour of Spain, but for fans who were left wanting more or could not attend, we will have the singer at the Puro Latino 2022 festival in Cádiz on August 6.
