Pioneer of Latin rap, singer and successful businessman MC Ceja, presents his autobiographical book “Berto”. A journey through his life story, it includes great accomplishments and failures, as well as opportunities that led him to become a trailblazer of the urban movement and co-owner of the successful multi media company, GLAD Empire.
Born in the cradle of the urban capitol of the world Puerto Rico, Alberto Mendoza, internationally recognized as “MC Ceja”, is one of the pioneers of Spanish Rap. His artistic career includes 6 solo record productions and another 3 in collaboration with other artists including Guelo Star and Polakan. His story of triumph and self-improvement has been an inspiration to young minds looking to excel in the music industry.
Today, MC Ceja becomes the first Latino urban artist to portray his life in a book. His legacy in the industry is not only given by his talent to interpret, but by his vast knowledge as an entrepreneur, partner and co-owner of one of the greatest record labels: GLAD Empire. In this autobiographical book, Alberto tells all “without censorship” all the vicissitudes he has gone through in his life to become who he is today, without neglecting the dramas, passions and loves of everyday life.
“I tell it all because I feel like the entertainment industry needs truth and transparency, because it’s so easy to talk about success when you’re already successful, but very few tell the truth hidden in years of quiet work,” MC Ceja said.
“Berto” is available worldwide via www.mcceja.com and on Amazon Kindle for direct download. In Puerto Rico, the biopic is available in Casa Norberto at the Plaza Las Americas shopping center, and very soon will be on Apple iBooks and other virtual bookstores.
