Pitbull, Bruno Mars and Other Latins Spice Up The 2013 Billboard Music Awards

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards night is finally here. It has been a night of surprises, lots of lip sync performances and awards galore live tonight from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and it included Latinos.

Bruno Mars with a mix of Puerto Rico and the Philippines born in Hawaii was the man in charge to open the Billboard Music Awardswith his hit “Treasures.” The Cuban-AmericanPitbull joined Christina Aguilera for their duo “Feel This Moment” and later in the evening he sang with Puerto Rican-American Jennifer Lopez “Live It Up.” Selena Gomez also added her charm with “Come and Get It.”

Of the three Latin categories in this year’s Billboard Music Awards, the late Mexican-American Jenni Rivera took two awards and Brazil’s Michel Telo took one.
