Prince Royce has wins big when he signed an exclusive very lucrative deal with Sony, giving them the sole power to promote and release his albums, and the mega label is wasted no time getting Royce into the studio.
According to the company statement, he’ll be releasing a Spanish album with Sony Music Latin in the fall, followed by an English debut via RCA records in 2014. Speaking to the press, RCA CEO Peter Edge had quite a lot of praise for his new client.
“We are thrilled about the opportunity to work with such a dynamic Latin artist on his first English album,” Edge said. “Prince Royce’s early successes have paved the way for the next generation of Latin music and we are eager to join forces with our partners Sony Music Latin to fully maximize his music and career.”
And seeing how Sony is also part of Colombia Pictures, there’s a good chance Royce can pursue his other big passion too.
