Sony Music Artists Shine At The 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards


Artists from Sony Music, The Orchard, and its affiliated labels, ignited the 2021 Billboard  Latin Music Awards.
Renowned as the longest-running awards show in Latin Music, Telemundo aired the ceremony live from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, FL.
Emerging victorious in the winner’s circle, Maluma and Prince Royce took home two awards each, followed byBanda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Black Eyed PeasOzuna, Romeo Santos and Shakira.
Also, Sony Music Latin lead the record label categories with nine wins.
Meanwhile, various artists from Sony Music, The Orchard, and its affiliated labels delivered a series of unforgettable and show-stopping performances, turning up the heat all night. Once-in-a-lifetime collaborations took over the night. Carlos Rivera and REIK joined forces for “Cuántas Veces,” while Carlos Vives, Mau y Ricky and Lucy Vives took over the stage for the first-ever performance of “Besos En Cualquier Horario.” Christian Nodal and Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga performed the world premiere of their new song “La Sinvergüenza.” REIK returned for “Loquita” with Rauw Alejandro and ROSALÍA joined by Tokisha blew viewers away with their debut performance of “LINDA.”
Meanwhile, Joss Favela delivered a very special Mariachi-style rendition of “Tu Adiós Como Tequila.” Then, there’s Natti Natasha who ignited the super sexy “Noches En Miami” with seductive flair. Other standout performances included Prince Royce’s “Lao’ A Lao’,” Rauw Alejandro’s “Todo De Ti,” and Nicky Jam’s “Miami.” Additionally, the legendary Marc Anthony performed his new single “Pa’lla Voy” for the first time, andYuri participated in the tribute to Juan Gabriel, recognizing the fifth anniversary of his passing.
In addition, Tropical music’s rising star Luis Figueroa took the stage to present the award for Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.
