Sony Music Latin congratulates its winners of ‘Premios Tu Mundo’ awards

Sony Music Latin congratulates its winners in the 3rd Annual Premios Tu Mundo celebration which was held last night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami and broadcast live on the Telemundo TV network.

Sony won four awards in the following categories: Favorite Tropical Artist, Favorite Norteño Artist, The Year’s Most Popular Song and Social Sensation.

During the broadcast of the event there were great performances by internationally renowned stars. Regional Mexican idol Gerardo Ortiz sang his hit song “Eres una niña.” Urban music performer Yandel surprised the audience with his new hit “Plakito” and during the performance his brother El General Gadiel and Farruko accompanied him. And, Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez lent an air of romanticism to the event when she delivered an emotional rendition of her hit single “Creo en mí.”

One of the evenings most eagerly awaited presenters was Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García, who had the honor of announcing one of the categories.

The Year’s Most Popular Song: Prince Royce for “Darte un beso”

The winners of the Premios Tu Mundo were selected by fans from around the world through a special online voting platform and via social network channels.
