A new phase for Xylon it’s about to begin with the release of his new single and video “Ponte pa’ mi”. From Puerto Rico to the World, the urban rising artist, Xylon, continues imposing his style while showcases his musical maturity with songs that carry grown lyrics compared to previous singles. Released under The Baby Boys Inc. label and produced by Claudio Ortíz, “Ponte pa’ mí” is now available on all digital music platforms.
Xylon, who recently turned 16 years old, assures that this single marks a new beginning in his career. “I am extremely excited about this song. It’s about a different Xylon, whom is no longer the child who released “Chau Chau” a while ago, now I will be doing songs related to my personal growth. Furthermore, this song represents a lot because my entire team put their two cents during the whole process, from the lyrics to what can be heard, today,” said Xylon, “To my fans: ‘enjoy this song’. It is perfect to be dedicated to that person who may not want to be with you and through this song you can always be there for him/ her,” concluded the young artist.
For its part, the official video was filmed in Puerto Rico and directed by Futuro Clásico Films. The clip shows Xylon’s evolution while carrying a lot of feelings with the story, which is about the artist and the protagonist being separated by a glass where they stare at each other but are not together. The glass is the barrier that represents the meaning behind the song’s lyrics. “Yo solo quiero que tú te pongas pa’ mí como yo estoy puesto pa’ ti” (I just want you to put yourself for me as I am for you). The video will be available today at 4:00PM ET on Xylon’s YouTube channel.
At 16 years old, Xylon has, little by little, gained the affection of his fans. With his previous singles, he has managed to grow his career internationally, specially in the Dominican Republic where his singles “El Original” with Pakitin Ozuna and “Pamparoso Remix” with Suazo, Rochy and Kiko El Crazy became a hit. He previously collaborated with VF7 and JuanFran on “Chau Chau Remix”, whose video has more than 3 million views.
