43-Year-Old Charged In Gang-Rape Of Teenager‏
Authorities have arrested a seventh suspect in the gang rape of a teenage girl outside a high school homecoming dance in Northern California. Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said 43-year-old John Crane Jr. walked into the police station and turned himself in without incident Tuesday evening. French said Crane was being held on $100,000 bail on suspicion of felony sexual assault. Investigators identified
Crane sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl outside Richmond High School. Police describe him as an ex-con with a history of violent crime. Six other males ages 15 to 21 have pleaded not guilty in connection with the rape and related charges.
