Lead Singer, Song Writer, Composer and Bass player, Jay Garcia was
born in Brooklyn, New York. Jay was one of the main artist in Bachata
sensation Grupo Xtreme in 2004. After a year with Xtreme Jay decided
to move to Tampa, Florida. In Florida, Jay performed and recorded with
music groups like Baby Boy, Bachata Group 4ever and Alexa Velez. While
performing with Baby Boy, Jay met Composer, Song Writer and Percussion
player Charlie Rodriguez who was also born in New York. Charlie was
one of the main artist in Bachata Group Optimo in 2004 in Washington,
DC.
Charlie moved to Orlando, Florida in 2006. Like Jay, Charlie also
performed and recorded for Baby Boy, Bachata Group 4ever and other
known artists. When performing together, Jay & Charlie quickly
realized each other's talents and unique styles. In 2007, they
collaborated to form the Latin, Jazz, Pop Bachata Group called Bachata
Real. Quickly gaining popularity in 2009, Jay and Charlie go on to
make what they call "Music from the Heart" and hope that the people
will appreciate their soulful style of music.
