Exclusive Q&A With Artist Moy Osorio

1. How did you career as Moy Osorio begin?
My professional career started when I met my manager Geo Monchez and sign a deal with Geovision Records. But I have been in the music since very young.

2. Was it harder to get into the latin music after being born and raised in Canada ?
Of course people expect you to first sing in English because less latinos live around here but the right move is to do an spanglish project!

3. Being the first latin RnB/Pop singer from Canada do you think your music might have come out different if you were born and raised in the states?
The music is the same here we both listen to the same things and even now some of the biggest artist of the industry are from Canada like Drake, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion and many more. So we are on top of the game lol

4. How did you feel being part of the opening for Sean Kingston in Montreal?
It was a very nice experience and a nice crowd that night. I got invited by one of my Rapper Friend to do a collaboration song. And we kill it that night, fans where going crazy with Latin touch of RnB.

5. What do you like to do on your time off away from the music?
I guess like any normal young guy chill with friends, clubbing enjoying my beautiful city Montreal baby!

6. If you never became an Artist what would you be doing?
I don’t see my self anywhere else then this business!! Hehehe !  But I could probably be an actor!

 7. What do you like about LaMezcla.com?
Lamezcla!! Of course their variety and keeping people well informed about all the update in the music scene

8. What advice do you have for people that want to be as successful as
yourself?
Work, Work and more Work. When you think you have done enough you don’t have to stop there. I always challenge my self-daily because I know that I can always do better.

 9. If you could work with any Latin artist who would it be and why?
I have a tremendous respect for Marc Anthony’s vocal so I guess a combination of Salsa and RnB could be great.
