Bad Bunny is the artist of the year at the Apple Music Awards

The streaming music giant announced the puertorriqueño superstar of reggaeton as its artist of the year, a title that he got in good measure for his album “Un verano sin ti”, which is the album with the highest number of reproductions of 2022 and the album more popular latin hasta la closure.

“We are delighted to celebrate the equal achievements of Bad Bunny, whose influence in every corner of culture cannot be ignored in 2022,” said Oliver Schusser, vice president of Apple Music and Beats, in a statement.

Bad Bunny has achieved several hits on Apple Music, including the record of the most popular Latin song by “Moscow Mule” for its number of reproductions in its first day worldwide. Bad Bunny managed to place 22 songs in the Daily Top 100 list, breaking the record of the highest number of simultaneous entries by a solo Latin artist, and his songs have arrived in the first place of the Daily Top 100 in 34 countries, more than any other artist.
