Blink-182 will return with new music and world tour

The rock group Blink-182 will pamper their fans with new music and a tour that will go through Latin America, North America, Oceania and Europe, reported Variety. It happens after seven years out of the music circuit, because in 2015 they dissolved to start their own adventures. This Tuesday, October 11, Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus announced that they are back as a band in style.

Also of note is that DeLonge and Hoppus founded the group and Barker joined as drummer in 1998. The band went on hiatus and explored side projects in 2005, with DeLonge choosing to focus on his band Angels & Airwaves. They regrouped for a reunion tour and new music in 2009, but DeLonge left the band in 2015. Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba joined as his replacement, while DeLonge pursued his own music as a solo artist.

From that moment, Travis Barker also worked on his behalf with different rock groups. While still belonging to Blink-182, and with Skiba in the group, they released the albums “California” in 2016 and “Nine” in 2019. Recall that Hoppus revealed a cancer diagnosis in 2021, but fortunately months later he came out of that problem of Health. He, Barker and DeLonge had been meeting after his diagnosis, leading many fans to speculate about a reunion, the magazine added.

As a group, the rockers are famous for songs like “All The Small Things”, “I Miss You” and “Dammit”, among their themes young love and sex predominate.
