The icon of the urban music worldwide, Daddy Yankee, is making history again establishing himself in the number 1 spot on the global lists of Spotify with his latest single “Con Calma” Ft. Snow.
“Con Calma”, Ft. Snow, became a global hit seven weeks after its release, staying for three consecutive weeks at # 1 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay” and “Latin Digital Songs” charts. The theme is the most broadcast in Deezer’s global listings and is the # 1 most viewed video globally on YouTube for the third consecutive week. This week “Con Calma” appears number 1 in the list “Latin Airplay Songs” by Billboard and is the number 1 international song in Monitor Latino.
The award-winning artist Daddy Yankee is unquestionably one of the biggest influences and trends in the modern music industry. Last week on the show “Late Late Show with James Corden” (CBS) had him as a guest, being the first Latin artist to sing in Spanish. Rolling Stone magazine highlighted that participation: “Daddy Yankee took the nightclub to the stage on The Late Late Show with his vibrant interpretation of the song Con Calma.”
