Ellie Goulding’s new musical proposal will arrive in time for the summer. The singer has confirmed through her social networks what she already announced to us a couple of weeks ago. And it is that she already has her new song ready, which will be titled Give it all to me and will be released on July 15.
At least that is what the British has implied with a teaser of approximately 15 seconds that seems to correspond to the audiovisual commitment of that theme. A board that reads the title, a date and a clock that seems to determine the time of the premiere on the main streaming platforms.
Along with this brief preview, some notes on the keyboard that make up a catchy melody of what seems to be a bet halfway between pop and electronica, genres in which Ellie Goulding has managed to stand out in her more than 10-year career both solo as part of collaborations.
A couple of weeks ago, the artist said goodbye to her profile picture on Instagram to leave only a black background, which quickly made her more than 14 million followers suspect that we would soon have new music from the singer. Said and done and it seems that we will not have to wait long to find out what her new musical adventure sounds like.
This will be Ellie Goulding’s fifth record project as a solo artist (not counting the EP she released with Silk City a few months ago) and will pick up the baton from Brightest Blue, the album with which she celebrated her first decade of recording career.
At the moment we do not have confirmation from the soloist of what her fifth studio album will be called, which at the moment on social networks is known as EG5. Ellie Goulding’s name is inextricably linked to hits like Burn, On my mind, Outside or I need your love (these last two collaborations with Calvin Harris). Electronic pop hits that made half the planet dance throughout this decade.
We will have to wait to see if this retro touch that we spotted in the Give it all to me teaser translates into a new collaboration with some electronic music giant.
