Latin celebrities, musicians, dancers and singers reunited in Washington the past two days for the 2013 57th Presidential Inauguration festivities. The Latino Inaugural Ball, Commander and Chief Ball and the Presidential Inaugural Ball with the latter ending last night were televised and streamed live on select channels and websites.

The Latino Inaugural Ball was hosted by Eva Longoria that included a star studded lineup of Latin celebrities and entertainers. Jose Feliciano opened singing the national anthem, Chita Rivera, Rita Moreno, Latin pop star Prince Royce among others performed. A children’s choir from San Juan, Puerto Rico, ended the night singing “This Land is Your Land” joined by a larger Latino choir that included Hispanic members of the U.S. military in singing “America the Beautiful.” Also making act of presence were Mario Lopez, Marc Anthony and Wilmer Valderrama.

Mexican Latin rock band Maná performed a few hits at the Presidential Inaugural Ball. And the Commander and Chief Ball gran finale was left for salsa singer Marc Anthony and his band. A few others that performed were Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Usher and Jennifer Hudson. Apart from Monday’s presidential day obligations, President Obama and his wife only made act of presence at the last two evening closing events.
