Marc Anthony apart from singing is a dedicated humanitarian and philanthropist. His Maestro Cares Foundation is having fundraiser events during his Vivir Mi Vida tour in the U.S. The first fundraiser kick-off was last night at the American Airlines Arena.
Just before Marc Anthony’s concert at the American Airlines Arena, Maestro Cares’ volunteers were present where attendees and fans had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a meet and greet for two people with Marc Anthony himself. All raffle buyers received a Maestro Cares’ t-shirt. A guitar was also auctioned to the highest bidder.
All donations and proceeds from last night and at select venues go directly to the foundation for the continued work of the orphanage in La Romana, Dominican Republic..
Maestro Cares projects involve assisting in the development of orphanages in Puerto Rico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic by providing food, school supplies, dorm rooms, classrooms and clinics so that children are surrounded by a healthy environment for learning.
Make sure to stop by for a chance to win a meet and greet with Marc Anthony or make a donation.
