Mun2 Seeks ‘Young, Authentic and Latino’ Talent

The Latino channel, home of “I Love Jenni” and “Larrymania,” is looking for on-air talent.

Latino channel Mun2 is looking for bilingual on-air talent, including VJs for its music shows, and hosts for entertainment programming and specials.

“We are looking for confident, dynamic and experienced professionals who are passionate about communicating to the U.S. Latino and reflect our mun2 values: young, authentic and Latino,” reads an ad posted on parent company NBC Universal’s career website.

The network is holding upcoming auditions in Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

“We’re giving people a chance to introduce themselves to us and earn an on-air spot on mun2 – one of the fastest growing cable networks in the U.S.,” said Diana Mogollon, Executive Vice President & General Manager, mun2. “This is their chance to pursue their Hollywood dream and be on the most influential, groundbreaking Hispanic entertainment cable network in the U.S.”

The channel’s former focus on music programming has dwindled in favor of reality series, some featuring music stars, like “I Love Jenni” (which featured the late Jenni Rivera) and “Larrymania,” about the everyday doings of corridos singer Larry Hernandez. Music videos and artist interviews are currently featured on the shows “Reventón” and “Mun2 ¡pop!”
