Premios Juventud 2022 is welcomed in La Isla Del Encanto, Puerto Rico!

The Premios Juventud will leave Miami for the first time to carry out its 19th edition in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as one of the many surprises that will take place on July 21, including a performance by Daddy Yankee prior to his retirement from music.

On this occasion, the largest number of nominations are monopolized by Colombian singers Karol G and J Balvin, with 11 categories each, followed by Puerto Ricans Rauw Alejandro, with 9, and Farruko with 8.

Among the great figures of Latin entertainment that will be present in this new edition, among which are Ricky Martin, CNCO, Thalía, J Balvin, Pitbull, Maluma and Marc Anthony, among many others, who will meet at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum .

A total of 214 artists and celebrities will compete for an award in their respective short lists, 33 categories, 10 of which are new and respond to recent musical trends, social causes, innovation and culture. In addition, like every year, the ‘Agents of Change’ will be celebrated, young people and stars who selflessly make a difference to build a better world.

This year, the event will be hosted by Mexican singer and actress Danna Paola, who makes her debut as presenter of the Premios Juventud; Eduin Caz, vocalist of Grupo Firme, one of the sensation groups of Mexican regional music; bachata superstar Prince Royce; and the Dominican model and presenter Clarissa Molina, a member of El Gordo y la Flaca.

The hottest party of the summer will begin with the Night of the Stars, a parade of great luminaries on the red carpet that will take place as a prelude to the event. Paul Stanley, Brandon Peniche and Natalia Téllez will bring all the details of this glamorous parade and the most outstanding moments of the award ceremony.

The nineteenth edition of the Premios Juventud will be broadcast live from Puerto Rico on Thursday, July 21 on Channel 5 and will be rebroadcast on Las Estrellas on Saturday, July 23, according to a press release.
