An expression constantly used to refer to Romeo Santos is that “everything he composes makes it a success.” And if we go to that, this new production, called Formula Volume 3, has all the tools to be one more success.
In fact, and so the singer was informed during the release of the album, the first single from the album released a few days ago entitled “His footprints of him” has already become double platinum.
The mansion of the Italian designer Gianni Versace was the setting chosen by the singer-songwriter of Dominican origin to present his long-awaited musical production Formula Volume 3 this Thursday. A night in which Santos was especially happy, and he had reasons.
He saw materialized the album that for him is the best he has released and that took him three and a half years to complete, he experienced first-hand the support of his colleagues and his eldest son was turning 22 years old, to him and to the Dominican Republic he dedicated the evening.
“This production took three and a half years and it really is a privilege to present this album to you, for me, I know it sounds cliché, I know it’s the best album until the next one comes out, because the day I leave the muse and my inspiration, the industry will never find out because I really want to continue delighting them with the best of me”, said a pleased Romeo with the final result of the song.
A musical album loaded with the characteristic rhythm of the artist who has been a successful label around the world and nuanced by collaborations with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Christian Nodal or Rosalía.
He had as guests colleagues such as Prince Royce, Natti Natasha, Toño Rosario and Luis Miguel del Amargue, former companions of Aventura, as well as influencers, communicators and the international press. During the meeting, the attendees were able to listen to the songs for the first time.
Formula Vol.3 is a continuation of his successful Volume 1, with which he obtained 27 platinum certifications for high sales and broke sales records.
In this production, Santos bets on his traditional bachata sound, while daring with other musical colors and genres, also betting on traditional bachata with the single “Suegra”, one of the best rated during the presentation. He also dared with merengue or flamenco with the songs “15,500 noche”, where he collaborates with Toño Rosario, Rubby Pérez and Fernando Villalona. Another song is El bandana, by Rosalía, the latter a bachata with flamenco influences permeated by the Spanish singer.
Another of the collaborations celebrated by those attending the presentation of the album were those made with the Mexican idol Christian Nodal, called “I miss myself”, and the talented Dominican bachatero Luis Miguel del Amargue, with whom he performed the song “The last night”.
The most anticipated collaboration did not disappoint the attendees either. Romeo put the American star Justin Timberlake to sing bachata, with him he recorded “Sin fin”, proving once again that music has no limits.
As expected, the representatives of urban music could not stay out of this album and for his “Fórmula Vol.3”, Romeo had the so-called Papa of Dominican rap, Pencil Conscious”, with whom he collaborated on the song “Guilty ”.
