Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your modeling career?
I started off just for fun because a couple of people were saying I should get into modeling. I just love taking pictures and at first, it was a hobby and now it is something I take seriously. I’m not a size 0-2, so I wanted to show that you can still be curvy and still be beautiful.

Q: What would you say was your greatest accomplishment in modeling?
Traveling to New York and being booked for a shoot out there and a possible trip for a shoot in the British Virgin Islands as well in the future with a close friend.

Q: What do you do on your time off?
I have a podcast called No Chaser with Tay and Samira on soundcloud out every Wednesday. I also co host on a radio show called Real Riddims on Firemix radio every Monday and work full time as well.

Q: What’s your favorite part of being a model?
I love getting dressed up and just taking pictures. The best part of modeling is traveling to new locations for new shoots with new photographers and experiencing new things.

Q: Who are your top 3 favorite Latin Artist?
Jennifer Lopez
Sofia Vergara

Q: What qualities do you look for in a man?
Overall a gentleman but also someone who can put me in my place. I know what I like and don’t like when I meet someone. So when I find someone who can handle my attitude that is a winner! Someone who has goals and is very ambitious and doesn’t settle for mediocrity. Someone who is adventurous too because I love going out to new places. Family oriented as well! That is a big plus! My boyfriend fulfills what I look for in a man so I’m Really happy with him.

Q: What are your biggest turn-ons?
Someone who can put me in my place when I catch an attitude! I’m like my mother, sweet but feisty and independent like I said before.

Q: What are your biggest turn-offs?
Smoking and when they are too cocky. There is a Difference between confidence and cockiness yes, however some don’t understand the difference.

Q: What’s your favorite Latin Dish?
I love food!!! If I had to choose, it would be arroz con gandules with maduros. Mofongo, alcapurrias, empanadas. I can’t choose. I’m sorry.

Q: If you could have your own candy bar what would you name it?
Oh lord. Maybe sugar and spice, to reflect my personality. I’m sweet but also very feisty.  I’m really bad at coming up with names for products.

Q: Any advice you would give upcoming models?
If you have a passion for something follow your heart! Follow your dreams! The only way you won’t make it is if you listen to the opinions of others who are content with being average. Stand out!
