The duet of romantic ballads Sin Bandera, formed by the Argentine Noel Schajris and the Mexican Leonel García, presented today this Friday their new single “Dime Que Si“, a “special” song that serves both to ask for marriage, the hand, or to declare love for someone, its members told EFE.
“That happens very often in our ‘shows’, people give us that moment of declaring themselves to their partners, so we made a song that has everything perfect so that people at that moment can do it,” says García, co-author of the song.
“Dime Que Si” is officially published today on digital platforms accompanied by a video clip and is one of the “grooves” of the new album, “Frecuencia”, which will be released on May 6 with ten songs.
Schajris and García, who form one of the most recognized duos in Spanish pop music, especially for their ballads, appear dressed in black and both with stubble.
“We are receiving hundreds of (home) videos of those moments of asking for marriage, we are going to put them on our YouTube channel,” says the Argentine with astonishment.
His teammate is quick to clarify that from now on they will make a second video clip of the song with those “edited fan images”.
“Tell me yes, let the story begin / Two crazy people dressed in euphoria that like this, without fear / They will share a memory until the end,” reads a stanza of the song.
“We did the whole album together, and it was an incredible experience, with a lot of time and relaxation, it had been a long time since this happened to us,” explains Schajris.
“We started two years ago with ‘Pronto’ and then ‘Directo A Ti’ came out. There was a (song) that we each did in his house, but (the album) is a very collaborative work, ”adds the Argentine.
The Argentine refers to the song “No one”, “for the first time produced by us”.
It is, he adds, a song “very pampered, that has a lot of vibes”.
According to the singer-songwriters, “Frecuencia” will be the fifth album in the artistic career of the duo, created in 2000.
Sin Bandera has been on concert tours for “almost a year and a half” with the Mexican duo Camila, “since before the pandemic,” they noted.
This Thursday they presented their concert “4 Latidos” with Camila at the Hard Rock Hotel, in Hollywood, in South Florida.
