Valeria Fernández, artistically known as VF7, originally from Cayey, Puerto Rico, began to compose lyrics about her own experiences at the age of thirteen. From an early age, she was influenced musically by her grandfather, mother, and maternal great-grandmother, from whom she inherited her taste for music and performance skills. She began as an instrumentalist at the age of eight, the typical Puerto Rican instrument called “guira”, was her accomplice to develop her passion and musical art. Billboard magazine recently named her as one of the “17 Most Promised Female Artists,” and added among the “Young Latino Artists to Watch.” Her most recent song, “Aprovecha” with duo Adexe y Nau, has accumulated more than 17 million views on YouTube. Last June, VF7 became the first female artist to appear at El Coliseo de Puerto Rico, under the new modality, before an empty coliseum. Her first concert was streamed through her YouTube channel.Her first collaboration, “Extrañándote” with Rauw Alejandro, has over 12 million views on YouTube and, so far, her songs “De Mi Para Ti”, “Aprovecha”, “A Fueguito”, “Extrañándote” and “Contigo” have been released under the label Sora and Company1 which also manages her career. VF7 is getting ready to release her debut album “Núcleo”, a production that includes 10 songs, including collaborations with renowned reggaeton artists.
